From initial enquiry to delivery

From the first contact with me, I will offer you an outstanding and personal service.
Here is what you can expect:
STEP 1
As soon as you have booked your wedding venue, get in touch with me to find out if I am available on your wedding date. I only take a maximum of two wedding cake orders per week so in peak months, I can be fully booked up to two years in advance.
If you know you’d like me to make your wedding cake, but you don’t know exactly what style of cake you would like yet, that’s absolutely fine. you can secure your wedding date with me with a £150 non refundable booking fee and then I will arrange to contact you nearer the wedding date to plan the all important details (and of course, taste some cake!).

step 2
After securing your wedding date with me, I will arrange a suitable time for your ‘design consultation’. Usually 6-9 months before your wedding. Consultations are presently being held virtually over Zoom. Before we have our chat, I will arrange for you to sample my cakes with a beautiful tasting box by post. In the tasting box you will be able to sample my ‘be classic’ cake selection and a variety of fillings in a fun 'mix and match' fashion. Or you might wish to upgrade to try some of my ‘be different’ or ‘be extra’ flavours too. Find out more about cake flavours here.
When we meet on Zoom, we will talk about all of your wedding details and plan how your cake will compliment the rest of your wedding. We will discuss the venue, the styling, where the cake will fit in best and how to make it look extra fabulous. To help with the design process, it is a good idea to have any colour samples, stationery, theme ideas etc with you during the consultation. During the meeting, I will also sketch out your cake design for you so you can visualise how it will look and I will provide you with a tailored quote based on the design.

Around 6 weeks before your wedding, I will be in touch to confirm all of the final details.
Your final balance will be due 28 days before your wedding date. The booking fee will be deducted from this final cost.
The week of your wedding, I will liaise with your venue to coordinate the delivery and set up of your wedding cake. If you are having fresh flowers on your cake, I will also contact your florist to coordinate our arrival times. So all you need to do, is sit back and relax and look forward to your special day. and of course…..EAT THE CAKE!
